Heartland For Children

Oversee community- based care in Polk, Hardee and Highlands counties. We are responsible for services for children who have been abused and/or neglected including foster care, case management, independent living and adoption.
To develop and manage a comprehensive, community-based, coordinated system of care for abused, neglected and abandoned children and their families and for children and families who are at risk of maltreatment and/or placement in the foster care system. We believe all children have the inalienable right to grow up safe, healthy and fulfilled in families that love and nurture them.
Help with the annual Rudolph Round-Up Holiday Toy Drive for children living in foster care homes, group homes and with relatives and nonrelatives; community leaders are needed to serve on the board of directors' development subcommittee.
