LAKELAND | Florida Technical College offers several bachelor and associate degree programs in a variety of fields.

For high school graduates, the college offers several programs in the areas of medical assistant, medical billing and coding, patient care technician, business and management, and criminal justice.

The college offers three bachelor of science degrees in allied health sciences, business entrepreneurship management and marketing and criminal justice with an emphasis on homeland security.

The college has become so technical it scrapped traditional bound college textbooks altogether. As part of tuition and fees, each student receives an iPad 2, on which course materials and digital books can be downloaded.

The Lakeland campus is at 4715 S. Florida Avenue Suite 4, and has medical assistant labs, computer facilities, classrooms and administrative offices.

Career services training for all students and graduates is also available.
