Lake Mirror Classic Auto Festival

The Lake Mirror Classic Auto Festival attracts hundreds of classic vehicles each year and thousands of people who like to look at them.

The festival began in 1999 after founder Ford Heacock looked out a window of the Terrace Hotel and thought Lake Mirror Park would be a perfect site for a classic car show.

While between 10,000 and 15,000 spectators attended the first year, the event has grown in crowd size and stature each year it has been held.

This year's festival is held Oct. 19 to Oct. 21 at the Lake Mirror Promenade and on Tennessee, Kentucky and Massachusetts avenues in downtown Lakeland.
