Homeless Coalition Of Polk County inc.

Serve as 'lead agency' for the Polk County Continuum of Care. Provide administrative services to homeless service providers to assist in the submission of collaborative grant applications and operate a collaborative homeless management information system.
To coordinate and facilitate efforts by organizations and individuals to deliver services to homeless persons; to provide or assist in temporary or transitional shelter for individuals or families; to undertake, promote, develop and encourage employment counseling, training and placement of homeless persons; to help prevent homelessness.
Volunteers are needed to locate and interview the homeless.
