Volunteers In Service To The Elderly

Help frail elderly persons to continue living independently and safely in their own homes. Through a variety of volunteer programs, we offer transportation, food assistance, caregiver respite, bathing, housekeeping, minor home repairs and emergency relief. Special programs include personal care boxes, Thanksgiving meals and birthday programs. We serve Lakeland, Bartow, Mulberry and Fort Meade.

Volunteers perform work in all of the programs listed above. Other opportunities include hot meal drivers on Tuesdays and Thursdays, commodity drivers once a month, transportation drivers seven days a week, warehouse and office assistance Monday through Friday and birthday cake delivery.
