Family Emergency Services Of Winter Haven inc.

Provide emergency food assistance, help to pay utility bills and rent or mortgage, prescription medication assistance, school supplies and holiday baskets and toys for Christmas and Thanksgiving. Provide resum_ assistance, career skills booklets and employment opportunity postings. On occasion, assist the homeless in obtaining birth certificates and identification cards to secure employment and housing. Provide emergency bus fare for individuals facing crisis.
To help families and individuals with emergency needs such as food and shelter to improve and/or maintain quality of life and to provide the resources necessary to ensure self-sufficiency for the future.
Stock the food pantry, package food for clients and assist with filing and phones. (All volunteers are required to sign a confidentiality agreement.)
