Central Park Art Festival

If what you seek is a mix of art, music and food to delight your five senses, look no further than Winter Haven's Central Park Art Festival.

The annual festival held in March in Winter Haven's downtown Central Park features the works of more than 100 artists competing for prizes and purchase awards that total $12,000.

Not only does the event offer quality art for sale, it also presents a taste of local food and music. Past performers have included area choirs and dance schools.

Traditionally, a children's hands-on art tent is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

In addition to the main art exhibits, a tent features art work from students from elementary, middle and high schools in Polk County. They will also be competing for prizes.

Admission to the festival and parking are free.
