Bloomin' Arts Festival

The event brings in artists from all corners of the United States to present canvases depicting everything from nature scenes to abstract musings of the universe.

Art isn't the only draw to Bartow's historic downtown district during the festival.

For those who need more than pretty pictures, other events include a classic car show and child-friendly activities.

A classic car show is held Saturday and Sunday, flower show on Friday and Saturday, and child-friendly activities Saturday and Sunday.

The festival, which has been held the past 41 years, is usually held in early March.

The festival spreads out from Broadway Avenue to Florida Avenue and from south of Davidson Street to Summerlin Street in downtown Bartow.

Admission is free.
