Lake Eva Park

On Lake Eva at the end of Fifth Street, has a playground, picnic facilities, a boat ramp, a swimming pool and tennis.


This community pool is open weekends only until June 3. The pool is open daily June 8 through Aug. 19. The pool is open weekends-only Aug. 26 through Oct. 28. The pool is open from noon to 6 p.m.

Lap swim is Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to noon and costs $1 a person.

All dates are subject to change based on the weather.

Admission is $3 per person. Individual season passes are $40 per person or $100 per family.

Lifeguard training is March 5-8, March 10 and March 12-15. The fee is $135 or $50 for those seeking just CPR certification. People can register for classes at the community center.

Swim lessons are offered beginning in May. Lessons for children ages 4 and under are May 14-18 and May 21-25 from 9 to 10 a.m. The cost is $25 per week.

Lessons for children ages 4 and older are June 12-22, June 25-July 6, July 9-20 and July 23-Aug. 3 from 9 to 10 a.m. or 10 to 11 a.m. The cost is $35 per week.

Adult lessons are Aug. 6-10 from 9 to 10 a.m., and the cost is $25 per student.

Private lessons are available in May and September. Availability is limited.

Registration for classes begins April 2 at the community center.
