Winter Haven has 22 parks of various sizes, from boat ramps and neighborhood parks to recreation centers. City parks are open during daylight hours only unless posted signs allow longer operation. For information, call 863-291-5656.

Swimming
Offers free swim lessons in May. The lessons are provided each day to the first 30 kids who arrive. Pool hours are 1 to 5 p.m. every day from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
