Heartland Pop Warner League

Teams from Fort Meade, Hardee County, Desoto County, Avon Park, Sebring and Lake Placid are involved in this league that is under the umbrella of Pop Warner Youth Football.
The program is for boys and girls ages 5 to 15. Tackle is offered for boys and girls ages 7 to 15. Cheerleading is offered for children ages 5 to 15.
Registration is held in May. Games begin in August and are played on Saturdays. Championship teams advance to regionals and nationals.
