Lakeland Gators

This youth football and cheer program is for boys and girls ages 5 to 15. The league offers tackle football and cheerleading.

Practices are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday evenings at Cypress Park on East Edgewood. All games are on Saturdays, including home games that are played at Lakeland High School.

Registration is $150 including a jersey for tackle players. Cheerleading fees vary with a $240 base fee, which includes a "spirit pack."

The league plays in the Florida Youth Football and Cheerleading Association, which is based in East Hillsborough County.

Registration is February through June with practices beginning in July. Games begin in August and run through November. The program offers cheer-offs and football playoffs.
