Mid Florida Football Conference

This league for boys and girls ages 4 to 15 has teams from Frostproof, Haines City, Lake Wales, Lakeland, Poinciana, Winter Haven, Bartow, Mulberry, Lake Alfred, Davenport and Garden Grove areas as well as teams from neighboring counties.

The leagues include cheerleading, flag football and tackle football.

It offers 10 games a season with a Super Bowl and a Cheer Off Super Bowl. The Super Bowl winners attend the National Youth Football and Cheerleading Alliance National Championships. Mid-Florida also hosts an annual All-Star Game, the country's largest youth football jamboree and an annual 7-on-7 tournament in May, sponsored by Under Armour.

Registration varies from city to city, but generally begins in February. The season begins in early August and runs through Thanksgiving weekend. The league accepts new teams from January through March 31.

Games are played Saturdays.

The conference also offers optional developmental teams for 7-year-olds and advanced 6-year-olds. Coaches are on the field with the children during the game.

The conference also offers the Wayne Gandy Football Camp, All Star Weekend Game as well as an opportunity to participate in the American Youth Football National All Star game.
