Those With Traffic Tickets Have Four Ways to Pay

Motorists who must pay traffic tickets received in Polk County have four options: by telephone, over the Internet, by mail or in person.

Payments must be received by the due date on the ticket to avoid late fees and license suspension.

To pay with a credit card over the telephone, call 877-716-1781.

An automated system accepts payment from people living in the United States for traffic tickets received in Polk County.

To pay with a credit card online, log on to www.polkcountyclerk.net, and click on "Traffic Ticket Payment."

For people living outside the United States, the Clerk of Court cannot accept credit card payments over the telephone or online.

But Western Union and International money orders in U.S. dollars are acceptable.

Payments can be mailed to: Clerk of the Circuit Court, Polk County, P.O. Box 9000, Drawer CC-10, Bartow, FL 33831-9000.

To pay in person, visit one of three locations.

The hours of operation at each facility are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays to Fridays, except for holidays:
