How to Volunteer at Schools

The Polk County School District has four ways to volunteer:

Event volunteers serve on an event planning committee and help with the tasks associated with hosting events. For more information, call the school you wish to volunteer at.

Office volunteers help with various tasks and projects. For more information, call the school you wish to volunteer at.

Reading tutors work with kindergarten through third-grade students. For more information, call Vicki Ginda at 863-519-8638 or e-mail her at vickig.ginda@polk-fl.net.

TSIC mentors work with scholarship students in seventh through 12 grades. For more information, call Program Coordinator Susan Fenich at 863-519-8077.
