AllWHAT'S NEW: The Eagle Lake location opened a few years ago. The original pizzeria at 6959 Cypress Gardens Blvd. in Winter Haven is still in operation.
WHAT I LIKED: Lunch specials are reasonable and accommodate various appetites. One recent daily special included two extra-large pizzas (each with a choice of one topping) and 10 chicken wings for $24.99. Two friends and I split the entire feast with plenty leftovers to spare. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and a bacon pizza. Each was delicious with chewy crusts, nicely melted cheese and sweet sauce. The hot wings and barbecue wings were tasty, and the meat came off the bones easily.
PRICE RANGE: Giovanni's offers a wide price range for guests. A single slice of cheese pizza runs $1.79. A Philly cheese steak sandwich is $6.99.
