GAME RECAP:
New York quarterback Joe Namath guaranteed a victory and delivered against the highly favored Colts. It was the first victory by the AFL champions over the NFL champions. Namath threw for 206 yards, Matt Snell rushed for 121 yards and the Jets intercepted three first-half Baltimore passes.
