Rookie kicker Jim O’Brien kicked a 32-yard field goal with five seconds left to complete the comeback by Baltimore. The Colts trailed 13-6 at halftime. Johnny Unitas threw a touchdown pass to John Mackey for Baltimore. Dallas linebacker Chuck Howley intercepted two passes and became the first defensive player and the first player from a losing team to be named MVP.
