GAME RECAP:
San Francisco quarterback Joe Montana threw for a Super Bowl-record 331 yards and three touchdowns and also ran for 59 yards and a score to lift the 49ers. He became just the third player to be named Super Bowl MVP twice, joining Pittsburgh’s Terry Bradshaw and Green Bay’s Bart Starr. San Francisco running back Roger Craig set a Super Bowl record by scoring three times (two on receptions).
