GAME RECAP:
Oakland quarterback Jim Plunkett threw for three touchdowns and linebacker Rod Martin recorded a Super Bowl-record three interceptions as the Raiders became the first wild card team to win the Super Bowl. Plunkett threw touchdown passes of 2, 80 and 29 yards and finished with 261 yards passing. His 80-yarder to Kenny King was the longest play in Super Bowl history. Philadelphia’s Ron Jaworski completed 18-of-38 passes for 291 yards. He had an 8-yard touchdown pass to Keith Krepfle, but also threw three interceptions.
