GAME RECAP:
John Riggins ran for a Super Bowl-record 166 yards, including a 43-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter, to give Washington its first lead and eventually its first Super Bowl title. Washington rushed for a Super Bowl-record 276 yards and gained 400 total yards in the contest. Miami led 17-10 at halftime, thanks to a 76-yard touchdown from David Woodley to Jimmy Cefalo and a Super Bowl record 98-yard kick return by Fulton Walker. But Miami managed just 34 yards in the second half.
