The Bears completed their Super Bowl shuffle season with a bashing of the Patriots. The Bears set Super Bowl records with the most points, largest margin of victory and tied the record with seven sacks. The Bears also held New England to a game-low seven rushing yards. Chicago coach Mike Ditka became the second person to a Super Bowl as a player and coach.
