GAME RECAP:
New York running back Ottis Anderson rushed for 102 yards and a touchdown and Buffalo kicker Scott Norwood’s 47-yard field goal in the final seconds sailed wide right to give the Giants their second Super Bowl title in five years. Behind Anderson, the Giants held the ball for 40 minutes and 33 seconds. Buffalo’s Thurman Thomas, who had 190 yards from scrimmage, gave the Bills a 19-17 lead early in the fourth. But New Mark’s Matt Bahr kicked a 21-yard field goal as the Giants recaptured the lead and held on.
