Desmond Howard equaled a Super Bowl record with 244 return yards, including a 99-yard kickoff return to lead the Packers. Brett Favre completed 14 of 27 passes for 246 yards and two touchdowns. The Patriots led 14-10 after the first quarter and trailed 27-21 late in the third when Howard made his return. New England’s Drew Bledsoe threw two fourth-quarter interceptions to seal the outcome.
