GAME RECAP:
Kathleen High School’s Ray Lewis led a Baltimore defense that held the Giants to 152 yards, forced five turnovers, recorded five sacks and did not allow an offensive touchdown. The Ravens jumped out to a 17-0 lead, the last score coming on Duane Stark’s 49-yard interception return for a touchdown. New York answered with a 97-yard kickoff return by Ron Dixon. But Baltimore countered when Jermaine Lewis returned the kickoff 84 yards for a 24-7 Ravens lead. The three touchdowns in 36 seconds were a Super Bowl record.
