GAME RECAP:
The Tampa Bay defense intercepted five passes, returning three for touchdowns in helping the Buccaneers win their first Super Bowl title in coach Jon Gruden's first season. The Bucs defense recorded five sacks and scored 34 unanswered points to beat the Raiders, Gruden's former team. The Bucs raced out to a 34-3 lead before the Raiders bounced back and was able to cut the lead to 34-21. But linebacker Derrick Brooks intercepted one of Rich Gannon’s Super Bowl-record five interceptions and scored to put the game out of reach. Dexter Jackson had two interceptions for the Bucs.
